We provide orthotics for upper and lower extremities. Our orthotists and in-house technicians design and build orthoses to treat the most challenging conditions. Each device is customized for the level of injury, physical ability, and purpose.

The orthotic devices listed below are some of those used to successfully treat patients with ailments from nerve & muscular, developmental, spinal, leg and foot challenges.

Ankle-foot orthoses (AFO)

An AFO, is a support intended to control the position and motion of the ankle, compensate for weakness, or correct deformities. AFOs can be used to support weak limbs, or to position a limb with contracted muscles into a more normal position.

Knee-ankle-foot orthoses (KAFO)

A KAFO is a long-leg orthosis that spans the knee, the ankle, and the foot in an effort to stabilize the joints and assist the muscles of the leg. While there are several common indications for such an Orthosis, muscle weakness and paralysis of the leg are the ones most frequently identified.

Foot Orthotics

Foot orthoses, commonly called orthotics, are specially designed shoe inserts that help support the feet and improve foot posture. People who have chronic foot or leg problems that interfere with the health and functioning of their feet may be prescribed orthoses by their podiatrist

Spinal orthosis

A spinal orthosis is a back brace that is designed to hold your spine in place and decrease the chance that the curve in your spine will become worse as you grow.

Diabetic Shoes

Diabetic shoes are sometimes referred to as extra depth, therapeutic shoes or Sugar Shoes. They are specially designed shoes, or shoe inserts, intended to reduce the risk of skin breakdown in diabetics with pre-existing foot disease.

Compression Garments

Compression garments are tight, compressive forms of clothing, often made out of elastin and nylon, which are designed to enhance recovery.
